Even as a first-term legislator, Trey was able to work in a bipartisan manner to sponsor and pass three pieces of important legislation.
LD 481 An Act To Promote Workforce Participation, reducing barriers to workforce development and growing our
economy.
LD 1643 An Act To Provide Funding to the Loring Development Authority of Maine for Implementation Grants, securing $1.5 million for economic development in The County.
LD 1134 An Act To Amend the Laws Governing Nursing facilities To Permit Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Physician Assistants To Perform Certain PhysicianTasks, supporting our nursing industry in Northern Maine.

Jobs

Opportunities for meaningful employment in Aroostook is key to attraction and retention of young families.  Trey works hard in his capacity in the legislature and at the Aroostook Partnership to identify barriers to growth of major industries in the County and support policies at the state level that will ensure a prosperous economy for Presque Isle and rural Maine.

Family

The family is the backbone of all good communities and when families come first in politics, our society is strengthened.  Trey has worked hard in the legislature to approach problems by putting families at the center of the discussion, addressing all generations at the same time.  Trey believes that families should come before politics and will continue to work in a bipartisan way to ensure families come first.

Future

As the youngest member of the Maine legislature, Trey has been successful through hard work.  He knows that if you want to have a successful state, you can't only focus on the issues of today, but have to focus on the issues of tomorrow as well.  Trey works constantly to create better opportunities for Maine's young people so that they can have a positive future in the Star City.
